VILLA BARONA POLICIES

1. Check In & Check Out

New arrivals can check in any time after 3pm. If you arrive earlier, we have secure storage for bags until your room is ready and you are more than welcome to use all other facilities. 

Cleaning is included twice a week. We kindly ask you to honor the number of guests you marked in your reservation. If you need to add more people, please let us know.

Check out time is 12pm. If you need more time, let us know with anticipation, this could be possible according to availability.

 

2. Guest Behavior and Curfew

The comfort, safety and security of our guests is of paramount importance to us. Any guest who, in the opinion of our staff, compromises the comfort, safety or security of other guests, staff or local community will be requested to leave the Villa premises and will not be given a refund.
 

3. House rules

- Smoking of any kind (including vaping) is prohibited inside the rooms and in the common spaces (pool, outdoor shared space). You can smoke outside the gate of the house or on the beach. Make sure the cigarette is extinguished before throwing it away, in the garbage.

 

- Use, possession or consumption of drugs on this property is strictly forbidden.

- Do not flush toilet paper, tampons, pads, baby wipes, etc. In Latin America, the plumbing isn't strong enough to flush toilet paper and it could clog the toilet. You don’t want that ;)

 

- Do not drink tap water  (but it’s ok to brush your teeth with). You can find a drinkable water container in the outdoor kitchen.

- Save the energy :) Please turn off the lights and AC when you leave your room.

​

- Save water :)  If you notice a leak in your bathroom, let us know.

​

- Do not use shower towels to dry the floor. If you need extra foot towels, ask us.

​

- Do not bring the shower towels to the beach. If you need a beach towel, ask us.

 

- If you break something or dammage something, we kindly ask you to tell us. We understand that accidents can happen, but we could ask you to replace the damaged item or reimburse any dammage caused to the property. 

​

- Keep all food that isn’t in a sealed container in the fridge in the outdoor kitchen, to prevent ants and bugs from invading. 

​

- Access to the property is only for people staying at the Villa. Do not bring extra guest(s), unless we allow it. 

​

- No parties, loud music / noise after 9pm. We offer a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

​

- Make sure to lock your door when you leave. Do not leave your valuable belongings outside. We take no responsibility for missing or stolen items. Clothing or personal items left at the premises will be kept for a fortnight then if not reclaimed or notified they will be donated to Charity.

- When you leave the house, make sure that the main door is closed and locked.

​

- Please wash all sand off before going to the pool or entering your room.

​

- If you go for a swim in the Ocean, beware of the rip current! If the waves are big, we recommend not going too far out as the current can be really strong. 

​

- Finally, the most important rule, have fun & rest :) Don’t hesitate to contact us if you need anything!
 

4. Liability

Villa Barona's liability remains, at all times, limited to the value of the services booked. As a provider of accommodation, Villa Barona places personal safety and wellbeing at top of our list of concerns. However, Villa Barona will not be in any way liable for any injury or incident caused by guest negligence, or situations we can not control.

EXTRA SERVICES

Laundry: 5$/ load

 

Board rental: 15$ / day -  80$/ week 

*Any dings/ damage to the board will be at your own expense.

Surf lesson (1.5h to 2h): Private: 50$/ Semi-private (2 to 3 people): 40$/pers. *Includes surfboard*
